1. Underwood Family Farms
This farm is located in Moorpark California. They have a 40 acre working farm. They grow a huge variety of fresh vegetables and fruit. The Moorpark location offers year round U-pick seasonal produce. Most of the picked produce is priced by the pound. They do ask you to come prepared and barging your own clippers and to dress for a day out on the farm. To top it all off they also have a small petting zoo with farm animals.
2. J & K Farley Farms
They are located in the San Joaquin Valley. This farm is a grape farm. They offer a very family friendly atmosphere. They provide all of the picking equipment and harvesting boxes you need and its free of charge! They specialize in Thompson seedless grapes. The usually run about 45 cents a pound for the grapes.
3. Snow-Line Orchard
Located in Oak Glen California this location is nestled in the beautiful mountains. They specialize in raspberries and apples. They are also very famous for their apple cider donuts that are sprinkles lightly with a heavenly mixture of cinnamon and sugar. They are open daily from 9-5 during apple season which is September to around November.
4. Brian Ranch Airport U-Pick Orchard
The orchard is located in Antelope Valley just 40 miles north of Los Angeles. They offer a huge variety of tree fruit to pick. The tree fruit usually matures around June until late September. They are open on the weekends from 8am to 2pm. They have apples, apricots, Asian pears, cherries, nectarines, peaches and regular pears.
5. Ambers Cherry Farm
Located in beautiful Leona Valley California. This farm has over 475 trees that produce several different cherry types. They have bing, rainier, lapins, tacton, brooks and tartarin. All of their trees are color coded so you know exactly what you are picking. Their season usually runs from about mid-May to early June.
